Plan

Old building with history, style with vision. This architecturally and creatively outstanding apartment in an old building is located in the heart of the historic old town of Durlach. Even in the planning phase of the renovation, the charm of the listed building and modern aesthetics were combined without compromise. Two stages of renovation laid the foundation for a stylish home that meets high standards of design, spaciousness, and functionality. Special attention was paid to combining historical elements with minimalist, high-quality furnishings.

Delivery

Design with substance. Furnishings with character.

The approximately 1,140 sq ft apartment impresses with its architecturally sophisticated room concept. A spacious living, dining, and kitchen area of approximately 650 sq ft creates an open atmosphere, while exposed half-timbering, historic sandstone walls, and seamless transitions ensure a consistent design. The furnishings are exceptional:

  • Seamless, sustainable cast floor throughout the entire apartment in a continuous color flow

  • Occhio ceiling lights (some installed seamlessly)

  • Wall-mounted doors without visible frames

  • Jung LS switch and socket systemJung LS switch and socket system

  • FSB door and window fittings

  • Hansgrohe Axor faucets

The apartment is also impressive in terms of functionality: custom-made fixtures provide concealed storage space, and modern building services (including a Junkers condensing boiler, 120-liter hot water tank, and flat radiators) are intelligently integrated. The restored wooden sliding door to the living room combines history with style—and opens up a view of Karlsburg Castle.

Live

An approximately 60 m² open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area creates a spacious atmosphere conducive to communication, while charming retreats such as the living room with a view of the castle or the bedroom with a cleverly integrated laundry area and custom-made storage space add style to everyday life. Surrounded by cafés, boutiques, and markets – yet in a quiet location.
