Status Quo
The corner shop in an old building with its two large shop windows offered a prime location and the unmistakable charm of historic architecture right from the start. The room layout was unspectacular, there was no clear design concept, the lighting concept and fixtures were outdated, and the floors and colors also appeared inconsistent. There was no kitchenette, and the space offered neither quiet areas nor different seating options for flexible use. The shop windows remained visible during the day, but were unable to attract any particular attention in the evening hours. So while the starting point was promising, its full potential had to be realized through targeted planning and redesign.

Plan
It all started with the idea of creating a representative showroom that is more than just a workplace: a studio for customer meetings in an inspiring environment, with the special charm of an old building. The design envisaged an open-plan concept, complemented by quiet areas and flexible seating. The aim was to combine creativity and exchange with opportunities for retreat – supported by a kitchenette and the unique location in a corner shop with large display windows.

Delivery
Development of the interior and spatial concept
Design of a sophisticated lighting concept with selected industrial and designer luminaires
Color consultation with Farrow & Ball and implementation of painting work as part of the renovation in line with historic preservation guidelines
Laying floor coverings (industrial carpet with floor markings)
Kitchen planning and implementation of a compact kitchenette
Design and implementation of shop window signage

Work
Today, the showroom is a creative meeting place and workspace with a great atmosphere: a place where customers can be welcomed in an aesthetic, inspiring environment. Different seating options create flexibility between work, interaction, and retreat. The large display windows open the space up to the city and make the showroom visible even at night—thanks to the lighting and a screen with changing motifs that attract attention. The result: a studio that combines professionalism and creativity, making it a statement in itself in a prime location.
